Cost of entire intro art kit
For non-majors and unmoderated students on financial aid in an 100 level art course.
To apply, contact your professor prior to the beginning of the semester.
MODERATED JUNIOR PROJECT GRANT
Up to $250
For moderated students enrolled in any studio art course on financial aid.
Funding for a both independent projects or class projects.
Apply through the application portal.
SENIOR PROJECT GRANT
Up to $350
For seniors working on Senior Projects on financial aid.
Apply through the application portal
HOW TO APPLY
Juniors & Seniors who are majoring in Fine Arts are eligible for the Junior & Senior Project grants. You must be on financial aid.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Download and complete a Purchase Order Request form (POR) — one POR per vendor.
Review the FVL's list of trusted local vendors.
List each item separately with price and a unit/product number. DO NOT include the FVL account number.
Sign and return the Letter of Agreement upon notification of FVL funding.
You may purchase equipment for a project but the equipment becomes property of the department when the project is finished.

3. Use the form to Upload your completed POR form(s) and three sketches or images along with a description of your proposed project.
Non major students who are enrolled in an 100 level art course are eligible for financial support in the the form of an art kit specific to their course. You must be on financial aid.
The amount of the award may vary depending on the class.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Notify your professor teaching the class that you want to be considered for the financial support toward your art kit.
Sign and return a Letter of Agreement stating that you have received the support from the FVL.
Maximum one application per student per grant type.
